Becoming a Member of NIG
NIG membership cuts across the strata of the Nigerian society.Membership is open to individuals and organizations interested in promoting the Internet in Nigeria. Present membership of the Group includes Universities, Polytechnics, non-governmental
organizations, government and its agencies, Internet Service Providers, private organizations, trade and professional organizations ond individuals (academic background is not too relevant).
NIG MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS INCLUDES:
• Education- Opportunity to learn about the latest development in Internet Technology through attendance of our numerous
Seminars, Workshop, Conferences
• Newsletter- Opportunity to receive our periodic newsletters, which givtf’updates on International and local developments of
the Internet.
• Adding your voice- Opportunity to contribute to policies that fashion the development of the Internet in Nigeria
• Networking- Opportunity to meet and interact with like-minded people and top people in Government and Business ond other
major stakeholders in ICT industry.
Membership of NIG is in three categories; these categories and fees

Intending members are required to fill the application form, downloadable from NIG website www.nig.org.ng. Payment of the fees can be paid directly to NIG bank account (Union bank account number 0006726318). A scanned copy of the completed application form and the bank teller for the Registration fee can be submitted by email to nig@nig.org.ng
