Nigeria Internet Group Recognises Issa Ajao for Contributions to Nigeria's Digital Technology Ecosystem
The Nigeria Internet Group (NIG) presented a Certificate of Recognition to Issa Ajao, Co-Founder and Global Lead of CloudCrave Solutions, on November 17, 2025, in acknowledgement of his contributions to digital talent development and technology innovation in Nigeria.
The recognition centred on two initiatives. The first, Switch2Tech, is a free, community-driven technology mentorship programme Ajao founded in 2024. The programme has since supported over 700 individuals across Africa in transitioning into technology careers, operating on a train-the-trainer model in which graduates return as mentors to the next cohort.
The second was Ajao's leadership of AI Hackathon Africa, a multi-country initiative held in September and October 2025 that brought together over 200 participants from across the continent to build AI-driven solutions addressing challenges in healthcare, agriculture, financial inclusion, and civic technology. NIG served as an advocacy partner for the event.
